Chew it Up and Spit it Out

I survived Halloween. I actually LOVE Halloween. But this one was also my 19th wedding anniversary AND the last day of my marriage. Now I get alimony checks and have to get my husband's name removed from all the utility bills. Ex-husband. That's going to take a while to get used to saying! One of my blog readers called him my "was-band"!
ANYWAY!

In honor of the occasion (all of them)... I carved this pumpkin. My son said it was "brilliant" and looked like Jack had EATEN another pumpkin. Smirk.

And since I promised not to disappear, even though I am on the last leg of this book... hmmm... that just doesn't sound right? Well, here is a photo collage of my studio where I am working on the book:

  1. Congrats on the occasions, and the approaching finale of your book. (Love the tennis balls on the chair legs! And the chocolate.)

  2. Hi there Sandy -- I want you to know that I am still proudly rooting for you. It sounds like you have been making amazing progress -- wrestling with one big book, and realizing it might be two! Hooray! Hang tight, girlfriend -- the best is yet to come!

  4. Well, A big day for you! I am so glad I did not choose a certain day to Marry. It was December 18th. I was not married as long as you. However, I do not like the word EX- for anything.
Since, I have the heirs to the throne, Two boys, I was not allowed to have my last name back. I was also denied Alimony. I got child care only.
So, when push comes to shove and someone is pushing to know if I have an ex-: I just state of course my children have a Father. I do not tell them anything else. They can be creepy if they want.
I am looking forward to the new book. Do you even know when it is projected for publication? I am so excited for you.

Seperations always hurt! Look only for the Best for Every Morning the Sun Comes Up!
I did. No, made lots of errors. But, I did ok! I reared Our sons, both have College Degrees in Computers and Chemistry from a tough Engineering College run by the De La Salle Christian Brothers.

Well enough! Only Gets better now! I do want to know when you will have another Workshop. I do want to take one with you.
